May 30, 2017

The Westmoreland police have begun an excavation exercise in Lowe River, Trelawny where it is believed that the remains of a construction worker, who have been missing over two months ago, are buried.

Investigators told our news team that an intensified probe has led them to believe that 31-year-old Otis Patrick was murdered and buried at the location.

Senior Superintendent Clive Blair told our news team that two men, including a cousin of the deceased remains in police custody.

“They will be charged with murder,” Blair said.

THE STAR gathered that Patrick, who is from St Mary, was working at a location in Trelawny near to where he is believed to have been buried, when he was killed.

Our news team understands that the area has been cordoned off as the security forces continue their search.
