Man gunned down in Cross Roads

The St Andrew Central police are probing the murder of a man who was gunned down a short while ago at the corner of Studio One Boulevard and Retirement Road.

Information reaching THE STAR is that scores of people at the usually busy intersection were sent scampering for cover as loud explosions rang out shortly after 7 p.m.

A man identified only as ‘Thunder’ was later found suffering from gunshot wounds. He died on the spot.

When THE STAR arrived on the scene, investigators cordoned off a section of Studio One Boulevard and were processing the crime scene.

Our news team was told the killers escaped on foot.
