Boom! Gary's costume catches the eye at carnival

Using Boom energy drink as his inspiration, sideline reveller Gary designed and constructed a regal, colourful costume for this year's Road March.

Complete with an equally elaborate crown, the glitter-faced patron chose to stand alongside the veteran Bacchanal Jamaica band as they 'chipped down the road'.

Though he has not purchased a carnival package before, being on the road is a yearly venture for this frequent feter.

Large glass of beverage in hand, Gary's wish is that all carnival bands in Jamaica unite for one road march.

"We shouldn't have three or four bands; we should just have one big carnival," he told The STAR.
