Two illegal guns seized in police raid, man arrested

The St Andrew South police have seized two illegal firearms and ammunition during a snap raid in Kingston 13 on Wednesday.

The lawmen report that about 10:00 p.m., the St Andrew South Operational Support Team, acting on information carried out the operation in the Kidd Lane area.

A house was searched where a Browning pistol fitted with a magazine containing fifteen 9mm cartridges and a Taurus pistol fitted with a magazine containing five 9mm cartridges were seized from the residence.

A man who was found inhabiting the premises was taken into custody.

His identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
