A retired district constable, Albert Mowatt, was shot and killed at the Supreme Ventures outlet on Market Street in Falmouth Thursday night.
Mowatt's son Morris, told THE STAR that he got a call at 8:15 p.m. that his 76-year-old father had been shot.

He arrived and could only peep on his father lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

"They prevented me from entering the establishment. Only my sister and I of his six children are living at Salt Marsh where we are from," he said.
Mowatt was robbed of his licensed firearm.
Superintendent Winston Milton of the Trelawny Police said, "Information is sketchy but investigations are continuing. "
