Whitfield 'Witty' Henry and his Uptown Mondays team will celebrate their 14th anniversary on the Heroes Day, and according to the promoter, it will be something special.

Scheduled to take place at Uptown Mondays Headquarters on Monday, the popular party will boast an impressive artiste line-up of some of the biggest names in dancehall. Bounty Killer, Chi Ching Ching, Ding Dong, I-Octane, Beenie Man, Spice and Macka Diamond are among the artistes expected to put on great performances.

In an interview with the STAR, Witty revealed that although he expects a big turn out this year, the grounds will be safe. "Security will be tight," he said. "We have contracted persons from King Alarm to man the grounds and we will also get assistance from the Half-Way Tree Police Station."

Over the past few weeks Jamaica has been experiencing an increase in rainfall which has affected several events on the entertainment circuit, but Witty believes that even if the rain falls on Monday, it will not stop persons from turning up at the event.

In addition to the exciting entertainment package to be delivered by the artistes, music will be provided by Foota Hype, Boom Boom and Harry Hype, Teacha, Cigar, Soul Tone and Stone Love.
