Jahmiel's songs enjoying success
Reggae artiste Jahmiel continues to heat up radio with a handful of songs.
Among his latest efforts making some serious noise on FM radio are Long Distance Love, True Colours and his chart topping single, Gain The World.
In addition to his songs doing well on radio, the streets have begun to embrace the talented artiste.
Jahmiel growing catalogue of songs and performances have earned new-found respect from peers and fans alike.
Jahmiel recently spoke about the inspiration behind Long Distance Love, which is accompanied by a video skilfully directed by Mamaz Boiz Filmz.
"The inspiration for the song came from a friend at the time when I did this song. I was asked to do a song like this because a lot of people can relate, and she was in a situation like that," he explained.
Long Distance Love was produced by Japan-based Gachpan Records. It recently went to number one on the Reggae charts in Japan.
The video accompanying Long Distance Love was shot at Buzzers Gaming Lounge, the Norman Manley International Airport and Waves Beach in Portmore.
Last Thursday, Jahmiel, alongside Vershon and Roxy J performed at the International Day of Credit Union function at the Transport Centre in Half-Way Tree. Armed with Real Father and Gain The World, he closed the show to much fanfare.
At the Mineral Boss Records (MBR) promoted Heroes Day Youngest and Hottest stage show, held at Caymanas Mineral on Monday, Jahmiel delivered another good performance which left many in the large audience impressed with his stage craft and delivery.
