Reggae singer Jah Torch is ready to take his career to the next level. The St Elizabeth-born singer, whose real name is Glenroy Smith, enjoyed much attention in 2015.

"My career got a tremendous boost last year with the release of Give Me The Strength and Girls Alone, both songs received a lot of airplay. I plan to build on this success in 2016, and take my career to a higher level," Jah Torch declared confidently.

The humble Rastafarian singer closed out 2015 with a strong performance at GT's Christmas Extravaganza. Appearing in the first segment of the annual stage show that was held on Christmas night at Independence Park in Black River, St Elizabeth, he impressed the audience with songs such as Out Deh, Give Me The Strength and Girls Alone.

A few days later, Jah Torch followed up with another good performance at the Little Ochie New Year's Day celebration that was held on Friday, New Years Day, at the Little Ochie Seafood Restaurant in Alligator Pond, Manchester.

Jah Torch is currently in the studios working on some new projects.

"I'm working on some new projects with my manager and producer Mervin Bernard of Yardie Ranks Productions. I plan to release a lot of new material this year, I'm going to flood the market," said the artiste.
