Dancehall artistes Skeng and Iwaata are confirmed as the next headline acts for Livewire, set for Tuesday, December 23 at Usain Bolt's Tracks & Records, marking the event's final staging this year.

Both artistes are looking to close the curtains on a standout year. Skeng recently reclaiming the most streamed song in Jamaica on YouTube for his 2021 hit Protocol, which currently has more than 100 million streams. Iwaata also dropped his album Underrated and scored a major collaboration with fellow artiste Aidonia.

Throughout 2025, the Livewire stage has become a key platform for showcasing top-tier Jamaican talent. This year's series has already delivered standout performances from Valiant, Bugle, Jahshii, Bayka, Agent Sasco, Armanii, and Govana, solidifying its reputation as a must-attend live music experience. The most recent staging, headlined by Govana, carried added significance as a portion of the proceeds were donated to Mount Ward Primary School, which was one of many Western Jamaica schools completely decimated by Hurricane Melissa in late October.

Speaking on the upcoming event, Jizell Cowan, marketing manager at Tracks & Records, expressed enthusiasm about closing out the year on a high note.

"Livewire has grown into a powerful platform for celebrating Jamaican music and culture. Ending the year with performances from Skeng and Iwaata is the perfect way to energise our patrons as we head into the Christmas season, and we're proud to continue hosting events that blend great entertainment with meaningful impact," said Cowan.

Event planner Carlton Davy, of Yung Kingz Entertainment, opined that, since its inception, Livewire has been about creating unforgettable experiences while pushing the culture forward.

"Closing out the year with Skeng and Iwaata at such an iconic venue is a strong way to thank our supporters and set the tone for what promises to be a very exciting Christmas entertainment season," he said.
