Shelly-Ann Curran, manager of up-and-coming dancehall artiste Devin Di Dakta, has sought to clear the air surrounding a story that surfaced online recently. The story claims that Devin Di Dakta had been put out of his apartment because of his failure to pay the $100,000 per month rent. However, Curran says the story is 'nonsense'.

"There is absolutely no truth to that," she told the Weekend STAR. "Devin is living the same place he has for the past eight months and is really OK."

She went on to reveal that she became aware of the story on Wednesday, and believed it to be the work of 'idle hands'.

"Obviously, Devin's career is moving in the right direction because in recent months persons have been attempting to put him down in any way they can, so he must be doing something right," she explained. "Do not believe everything you see on the Internet and make sure you get your news from reputable sources. The Internet, is a big space and not everything that pops up is true," she told THE WEEKEND STAR.

Late last year, Devin's team had to do major damage control after his social media accounts were hacked. Persons somehow gained access to the artiste's private pages and started making posts containing expletives and even targeted several members of the dancehall fraternity and the media.
