Sadekie Lennox says 'Call My Cellular'
5 Stars Recording artiste Sadekie Lennox has proven that he can excel in punchlines, hooks, poignancy, freestyles and pretty much any other way you can measure a singer.
Over the past year, he has solidified a decent underground following with songs such as the reggae-influenced Call My Cellular, ballads like Tonight and covers of popular songs Sam Smith's Lay Me Down.
Music fans have been particularly intrigued by Call My Cellular, a song penned by noted songwriter Dennis Pitter, which appears to have struck a chord with young fans who have delighted in leaving colourful comments on his various social media accounts. The song details an act of infidelity and the subsequent fallout.
"It's a reality song, and based on things that I have seen happen with couples in terms of cheating and infidelity. I believe that side chicks need to respect the wives and not disturb and intervene in relationships. Because the song is dealing with reality, people gravitate towards it," he said.
Lennox has seen his stocks rise since inking a production contract with 5 Stars Recording Inc. in December 2014. Now that he is backed by a strong marketing team and distributed worldwide through Zojak World Wide, he is ready to make his mark in the local music industry.
"Through Lennox's unconditional faith and persistence, and the talented members of the 5 Stars Recording Inc. team, he is now growing into a great reggae artist, recognised across the world. Nothing good comes easy. Lennox remains inspired and continues to make great music," Clifton Lawrence, chief executive officer of 5 Stars Recording Inc., said.
