Pressure BussPipe with 'Like It Is'
Reggae music sensation Pressure BussPipe is still up to his 'love song' singing ways, albeit this time around from his own music label BussPipe Records.
The US Virgin Island-born artiste, though not limited to working with other producers and record labels, is presently honing his craft while establishing his new platform.
Born Delyno Brown, he flew to Jamaica recently in a bid to re-establish himself among the growing listeners and promote a new single, Like It Is.
The Love and Affection hitmaker stopped by THE STAR and provided an update on his career progress.
"I am promoting a song called Like It Is. It's a lovers rock from my new record label. I do work everywhere but my company has just been formed. Over the last six months, I have toured Europe and have been working on an EP at the same time. I've been doing quite some work ... I am looking to release my sixth studio album later this year," said Pressure BussPipe
Pressure told THE STAR what inspired Like It Is.
"Just the movement of creating a lover's environment. You know sometimes when I get in the lovers mood for writing, I just start create some melodies that people can catch. I just want to release some lovers songs because, since Love and Affection, I been doing a lot of reality songs that has not reached the level of Love and Affection, and a lot of fans have been asking me to do more," he said.
Like It Is will be on his upcoming EP, with songs such as Nuh Worry Yuhself and Once Again, produced by Don Corleon. An official music video for Nuh Worry Yuhself is already in circulation.
Though not in Jamaica as much as he would like, Pressure says he has to be creative and know how to advance. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and says he tries different things such as listening to radio stations and reading the newspaper to stay abreast.
