Pandemonium at Carnival Pon Di Road finale
Digicel and Appleton Special's Carnival Pon Di Road finale was one to remember as patrons filled the St William Grant Park in downtown Kingston last Friday.
The vibes went well into the night and revellers were in for a surprise when Digicel brand ambassador, Tifa, took to the main stage with a number of popular hits, including her latest soca song, Big Bumper. But the biggest surprise was when Digicel's newest regional brand ambassador, Machel Montano, stole the show with hits after hits from his seemingly endless arsenal of soca songs.
The entertainment did not stop there as the 'Fluffy Diva' Miss Kitty joined Machel to 'wuk up' with the soca king. With great bundle deals on Appleton Special and Digicel credit, the powder-filled venue got a dose of superb entertainment supported by the resident trio, Miss Kitty, ZJ Sparks and Kurt Riley and guest host, DJ Sanjay.
The series, which started in March, visited five parishes across Jamaica, including St Thomas, St Ann, Mandeville, St James and Kingston.
Here are some highlights from the finale.
