Triple Century Sports Bar turned out a sensational subset of dancehall's greatest entertainers recently.

Celebrity cricketer Chris Gayle, in celebration of his birthday modelled his 'home turf' into a stage show for Dancehall Royalty, and provided a club-concert of closers.

Amid sparkling Hennessy bottles and finger-salutes, the unfailingly entertaining pioneering selector Sky Juice, accompanied by DJ Oliver, took the stage first, delivering an energised half-hour of shirtless belly rolls and pelvic thrusts.

After having the crowd in a chorus of Bob Marley and Buju Banton classics, Fire Links followed with another slightly longer set, switching the melodious shouts of the patrons into a dance party.

The energy stayed high when Bounty Killer entered the stage, giving accolades to Sky Juice and Fire Links for starting the show and for being the first entities to introduce him on stage and in the dancehall. And in keeping with the dancehall tradition, Bounty offered his own introduction to dancehall artiste Iyara, who with great enthusiasm performed a few verses.

The energy rose even higher when Beenie Man joined the Grung Gad on the platform. The dancehall superstars offered a volley of hits after hits, before Beenie, dapper in velvet blazer, wrapped up the night.
