'Up To The Line' marked by great performances
The Champs atmosphere transcended from the track inside the National Stadium over to Limelight in Half-Way Tree for the after-Champs party 'Up To The Line', which fired on all cylinders without incident.
A packed venue was pleasing to the promoters; however, what was more important was that the line-up lived up to the billing and patrons, mostly students, were satisfied.
When THE STAR arrived shortly after 11 p.m., the venue was warming up for what was to come - an onslaught of performances.
MCs Charm, who was sexily clad, and Boasy Boy Floyd kept the large gathering entertained.
There were electrifying performances from Mavado, Jahmeil, Alkaline, Bounty Killer, Masicka, Ishawna, I-Octane and others.
New sensations Shenseea and Style X also represented well.
Musical juggling was sparked throughout the night by Foota Hype, Stone Love, Jigsy and Rebel T.
The youthful audience showed their approval of the big tunes and rewarded the selections with loud cheers and deafening sounds from the vuvuzelas around the venue.
The event came to a climax shortly after 4:30 a.m.
