George Nooks ignites Father Ken's birthday
Veteran singer George Nooks was at his ultimate best as he reeled off hits to spice up the birthday party for Lester 'Father Ken' Crooks on the roof of Ken's Wildflower in Portmore, recently.
Crooks said: "Every year, I share my birthday party with the most important people in my life - my family, my friends, my customers. This is not just a birthday. It is an appreciation event for all my customers."
Nooks did songs such as God Is Standing By, Riding For A Fall, Left With A Broken Heart, and Bridge Over Troubled Water, just to name a few.
He was greatly appreciative of the crowd's response to his musical artistry.
"The audience was great as always, I truly feed off their energy. It's just amazing here at Ken's Wildflower," he said.
Crooks has been in the entertainment business for over 30 years.
