Heineken plots carnival takeover

Alcohol brand Heineken has signalled its intention to get a piece of Jamaica's carnival market by partnering with Xodus and the Sunnation for a host of events.
“Jamaica’s carnival scene is really growing and Heineken plans to be a big part of that growth,” Suwannee Stewart, brand manager for Heineken, said.
“Heineken is bringing the best lead up parties with Sunnation and Tabanca Tuesdays, the most premium road march with Xodus and the biggest Carnival Sunday after-party at Heineken Rio,” she said.
Patrick Alexis of Nuphoric and Dane Ottley, two popular Trinidadian DJs, will be the headlining Heineken’s line up of carnival events.
