'Go Freddie Go' doing well for McGregor
Freddie McGregor is blazing up the charts in New York, southern Florida and Jamaica with 'Go Freddie Go,' the first single off his upcoming album on VP Records.
"I thank my fans for making this song number one in New York and Florida. You have been with me through the ups and downs ... this song is for you," McGregor said.
Produced by Lincoln Thomas for Linkgitz Production and written by McGregor with Thomas and Kemar Williams, 'Go Freddie Go' is a musical chronology of his life, career, experiences, journey and his legacy.
"My life's journey has taken me places I only dreamt of as a youth. Thinking back on all of it, I remember the times I was encouraged to 'go Freddie go'," McGregor continued.
He will embark on a North American tour this summer with stops including Vancouver, Boston, Los Angeles, Washington DC and New York.
