Singer Mitch and deejay Dalla Coin are celebrating the success of the single 'Body Of A Goddess', which has climbed to number one on the popular Jamaica Music Countdown Chart.

The collab, produced by Emperor Productions, entered the chart in February and finally secured the top spot last week.

This is the first number-one song for the duo, although Mitch is no stranger to chart success having been a member of the highly successful group ARP.

In a recent interview, he expressed his gratitude to all who helped to make this possible, and lauded the efforts of his management team.

"I am really happy about this, and we - me and Dalla Coin - are thankful to our family at Emperor Productions. And, of course, big respect to the radio disc jocks, selectors and the on-the-street team, who all played a vital role pushing Body Of A Goddess to the world," an excited Mitch said.

Both artistes agreed that nothing happens before the right time and say they are confident that their time is now.

Not content with resting on their laurels, the artistes are in full work mode as they are also focusing on the single Goosebumps.

To date, the duo has recorded close to a dozen songs, and more are in the works.

Born Roger Mitchell, the multitalented Mitch is also a songwriter. He has been doing much solo work since ARP disbanded in early 2000, releasing singles and albums with producers in Jamaica and Europe.

His third album, Lucky, was released in November 2016 on Danish label Icedrop Records

Dalrick 'Dalla Coin' McBean, who hails from Old Harbour, St Catherine, has been doing music professionally for the last six years.
