D3 looks to bring fresh sound
Brothers Tovi Soul and Feltch McLean are looking to make a musical mark, performing under the name D3.
The duo is signed to the British-based record label In-Ex Records.
"In-Ex Records is giving us their full support. They're doing everything to make us a force on the global music scene. We've been working with them since 2017, and we've made a lot of progress so far," said Tovi Soul.
The brothers recently released a seven-track EP titled Will You Be There. The EP was produced by In-Ex Records and released on February 14.
"We are bringing a fresh new sound to the table. our music is an eclectic blend of reggae, dancehall, hip hop and R&B. You can hear it on all the tracks on our EP. Our label is doing a lot to promote the EP internationally, and the feedback has been excellent so far," said McLean.
D3 is currently promoting the third single off the EP, an R&B tinged dancehall track Moon Light, which was also released in February.
Feltch McLean was born in Kingston but grew up in Linstead, St Catherine. He is the older of the two and a past student of Charlemont High School.
Tovi Soul was born and raised in Kingston. He is a graduate of Camperdown High School.
The brothers decided to join forces to form D3 in 2014. Before that, McLean was a member of a group call D Linkz, which was signed to Robert Livingston's Scikron Music label.
