VP Records is proud to announce that reggae legend Freddie McGregor is embarking on his Go Freddie Go tour, beginning tonight in Seattle, Washington.

Following the March release of his single and video of the same title, Go Freddie Go, the singer is taking his talent and vast catalogue live to more than 25 cities for this summer 2018 North American tour.

Hitting Canadian cities such as Victoria and Vancouver and American cities, including Boston, St Louis, Chicago, San Diego and Scottsdale, fans can be sure to catch him.

English reggae and pop band UB40 and reggae artiste Chino will join McGregor at select stops, along with other special guests.

Go Freddie Go topped radio charts in New York and south Florida.

In Jamaica, the song was a top 20 hit on The HITZ 92 FM Reggae Top 20 Charts and number 14 on the Jamaica Music Countdown, Top 25 Reggae Singles chart during its debut.

"It has been a while since I have done a North American tour and with over 50 years in the industry, it is appropriate that my latest single Go Freddie Go, distributed by VP records, is also the title of my tour," said McGregor.

"Go Freddie Go represents the signature Freddie McGregor sound and celebrates some of my popular songs that fans know me for.

"The attachment of the title of my last album True to my Roots, is a signal of what fans should expect from my performances backed by the Big Ship Band. I am excited about this tour and look forward to the North American experience, and I guarantee my fans a true Freddie McGregor experience," he said.
