Nesbeth tells story in 'Remove My Enemy'
For the past few years, recording artiste Nesbeth has lived a life filled with physical and spiritual trials and triumphs, but through it all, what has become most evident is the strength of his mental resolve and a noticeable growth in his music.
Nowhere is that better showcased than in the latest offering, Remove My Enemy, the first single from his upcoming album, A.M.E.N. The song alludes to Nesbeth asking the Almighty to eliminate the foes from his life. But in an ironic twist, he notices the sudden disappearance of many of his close relatives and friends.
"I ask God to remove my enemies, and close friends start to fall. A nuh every family a relative, can't trust nobody at all. Some of the worst fight weh me ever get a from the same people who benefit from every hard work, every sweat," Nesbeth sings in Remove My Enemy.
Radio rotation on the Sweet Music-produced single is expected to commence soon as the Rastafarian singer continues work on the completion of the album.
Executively produced on the Entertainment Soul recording imprint, A.M.E.N is slated for the last quarter of 2018.
Speaking on the project. Nesbeth said: "My music is about real-life issues, social commentary and topical matters presented in a clean and conscious manner that people from all ethnicities and spheres of life can appreciate. Remove My Enemy is another of such songs I hope the people will enjoy."
Weeks earlier, Nesbeth teased another single, Paper Route. The track is available for pre-order via iTunes.
