Exotic dancers, fire breathers to bring fun to Phuket

The organisers of Phuket, the exotic beach party, are promising nothing short of fun, food and frolic on Sunday at Sugarman's Beach in Portmore.

Phillip Glenister told THE WEEKEND STAR that Phuket is a beach party, but it is like no other.

"It's something outside the norm. Not the regular event. All kind of things will be going on," he said of the event that will be held from 2 to 8 p.m.

High-energy musical uggling will be provided by DJ Nicco, Ikel Marvlus, Badda Bling and SJ Fire Wayne. The event will be hosted by Sher Luxury Doll.

"We just added Spuggy from Renaissance. All the cabanas are sold, and we pull out all stops so patrons can come and have a great time. There will be exotic dancing and fire dancers," Glenister said.

The last staging of Phuket was held in February, and according to the organisers, patrons have been anticipating another staging.

"It's the last event of the summer season. We are inviting patrons to come out and enjoy themselves before the realities of September and back to school set in," Glenister said.
