Vanessa Bling to headline Blush in St Thomas

Female dancehall artiste Vanessa Bling, Chromatic and Richie Feelings will headline tomorrow's staging of Blush (Make An Impact), slated to be held at Vybz Sports Club, Yallas, St Thomas.

According to the event conceptualiser, Sheldon Telfer, as the party celebrates its third staging, he is expecting a bigger turnout when compared with previous years.

This is due to the fact that this edition will feature some of the hottest disc jockeys in Jamaica.

"Last year we had DJ Nicco and the audience loved him, so we are coming back with another set of known selectors. Vanessa Bling is a hit among persons of all ages, so I know persons are looking forward to seeing her as well. We have been putting in a lot of promotion, so we are expecting a full house, as tomorrow we will be providing a first-class package at a very small cost," he said.

According to Tefler, who is also a budding dancehall artiste, in addition to providing entertainment, the event is set to boost the St Thomas economy, as it will provide an income for small business operators.

"St Thomas is slowly but surely becoming the entertainment spot for everyone. I would not take this party anywhere else, because the aim is to bring the massive in the parish so they can see the beauty we have here," he said. "I am hoping to attract persons from the other 13 parishes and even the region, so, this way, it can even boost the St Thomas economy as this event will provide jobs even if is just for a night for persons such as the jerk pan vendors and taxi men."

In addition to the captivating music and performances, there will be numerous giveaways, including US$300 for the best couple.
