Sean Paul teams up with all-star lineup for charity cover of popular song
Jamaican Grammy Award winning dancehall singjay Sean Paul, joined a number of mega stars for BBC Radio 1's biggest ever Live Lounge.
On Thursday, Sean Paul, along with some of the music industry’s biggest stars, teamed up for an all-star cover of Foo Fighters’ ‘Times Like These,’ to raise money for charities, with the accompanying video receiving its world exclusive premiere, during BBC One’s 'The Big Night In.'
In acknowledging the weight of the challenging circumstances facing people worldwide as a result of the coronavirus outrbreak, the 'Get Busy' deejay said, "it is such an unprecedented time on earth right now that we all have to come together to help each other... I just can't imagine what it's like for the less fortunate who are struggling at this time. I hope the song gives hope to people who are in the midst of a lockdown, in more difficult mental and physical situations. It's in sad times that we must pull together."
All net profits from sales or downloads of the single within the UK will benefit BBC’s Children in Need, Comic Relief, and the World Health Organization’s COVID-19-Solidarity Response Fund.
