Partygoers converged in the cool hills of Red Hills at the Summit Mansion last Saturday for the Summit Pool Party. The fresh air and high altitude and the illuminating lights of Kingston in the far background provided the perfect background for a successful poolside frolic and excitement.

The event was the first in the summit party series to be held on local soil since all curfew restrictions were lifted by the Government in recent times. It followed a Summit staging that was held in Miami, Florida, last November.

Summit promoter Shaughn Wright admitted that he was very satisfied with the turnout.

"Yes, I was very pleased and triple grateful for all the support and consistent love shown by our patrons and am looking forward to more of this on May 28 at our next staging," Wright said.

He also expressed full confidence that night-time entertainment will return to pre-pandemic levels.

"People want a getaway from the hardships of everyday life, and for most this is their escape, so the fact that the public wants, and in most cases needs this, I think we are well on our way to restoring Jamaican nightlife entertainment as best as possible," he said.
