Shaneil Muir to headline Brunching on the Beach

Dancehall artiste Shaneil Muir is expected to ignite St Mary on July 17 at the staging of Brunching on the Beach at D'Shore Beach.

Promoter of the event, Rohan Searchwell of World Cup Promotion, said the event is more than just an entertainment package as many people are set to benefit.

"This will be a big boost for the St Mary economy. From the chicken vendor to the man or woman who sells sweets will be able to make an extra money. We do not restrict vendors from selling at the brunch. The farmers of St Mary and other parishes will be able to eat a food as well. We will be buying their produce and offering employment for bartenders, hostesses, security guards, etc, for the day," Searchwell said.

Brunching on the Beach will be one of the parish's big events since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

"We just want the patrons to have a good time. It won't be just about watching the live performances and music, but persons will be doing that on a full stomach as the event is food inclusive. It is an experience that is well deserved with all that is happening around us. It is just going to be a whole vibe," he said.

Shaneil Muir has been riding high on a wave of singles such as 3D, Top Gyal, Yamabella and Talk Truth. She will be joined on the event by artistes including Renee 6:30, TC, Rebel, Deno Crazy and Roze Don.
