Tarnado Di Professional promoting new single

Dancehall artiste Tarnado Di Professional has returned to Jamaica to promote his latest single Di Professional and to relaunch his career.

The artiste, whose given name is Dervin Grant, migrated to Canada in 2019 but said he remains active in dancehall music despite being away from Jamaica.

" Di Professional song is a hit in Canada. It's a street hit in Canada. When you look pon the 'gram [Instagram] you can look pon the message dem and see wha a gwaan pon the streets of Canada too," he shared. He said that he recorded the track for Iwaad Nation and Outfit Records. He explained that it is about flossing.

"Mi want the people dem fi know that the 'lyrical god' back in the building again so dem can listen out fi nuff more lyrics and metaphors. We a come fi change back the game to how we know dancehall is supposed to be," he said.

The artiste has written numerous hits songs for top dancehall acts, including Elephant Man and Bounty Killer, but said his main focus now is prioritising his own career as a dancehall artiste.
