For all those who have been wondering whether Lisa Hyper's baptism was real, and if she has made a conscious decision to turn her back on sin and accept Christ has her saviour, her answer is a resounding 'Yes'.

The dancehall diva, whose followers have cheekily rechristened her 'Sister Hyper' -- a name she actually likes -- said she takes comfort in that she has given her life to the Lord.

"God has me and that is what is important. I am feeling great. Some things will change ... how I dress... but I will be doing my shows. I may even put out some songs as Sister Hyper."

Lisa has come under fire from persons who accuse her of "playing with God" because she has continued to post her racy dancehall songs and images of herself showing lots of flesh.

In a post two days ago of her newest video for the just-released single, Nuh Like People, the former Gaza First Lady states, "Dem sick a dis, tell dem go rub up wid bare rum. #Nuhlikepeople out now!"

The visuals for Nuh Like People sees Lisa all dolled up and coming out strong in full dancehall mode, even showing off her thong.

The irony of the situation did not escape her social media followers, many of who hopped into the comments section with sharpened tongues.

"Saint Peter, is that you posting on Lisa's page? Aren't you suppose to doing your job and letting in people through the Pearly gates?" read one post.

"The comments are hilarious," Lisa said laughing. "One person even asked who hacked my page."

But she is not in any mood to take on anybody right now.

"What is understood doesn't need to be explained," she said cryptically in relation to the perceived confusion about her newly baptised status.

"I needed to be saved, so I got saved," she said of a viral video of her recent baptism.

"It was not a case of me just wanting to be a Christian, my life was at stake and I needed to be saved," she said without revealing where the baptism took place or who baptised her.

She was more forthcoming with information about Nuh Like People and explained that she voiced it in one day with the help of Renegad.

"Big up to ZJ West, Renegad ... dem a God people. Mi only like God people. I want my fans in England to know that I will be coming there in November for three weeks. I haven't been there in over 12 years and I will be celebrating my birthday [November 25] there. The party is on the 26th in Birmingham," she said.
