6ix Boss not deterred by Down Syndrome
Popular social media influencer 6ix Boss has been captivating audiences with his energy and personality despite being a person with Down Syndrome.
Born Daniel Rose, the 22-year old, who is from Manchioneal in Portland shot to stardom after being discovered by his Drizzy Jay (who is now his manager) and his Drizzy Walking TV crew at a shoot for a vlog in Portland almost two years ago. Drizzy Jay said he immediately realised 6ix Boss had a sociable personality and was thrilled at the ease with which he got along with others. So he decided to add him to his team.
"We did a do one vlogging up a Machioneal and we discover him from there so ... we see him and we like him vibe so we discovered him there. We didn't know about him before then," Drizzy Jay said.
"We did bring some girls and we realised that him popular with the females enuh and they loved his vibe," he added. He also revealed that 6ix Boss introduced himself as such when they met, so he and his team had no influence on the moniker.
When quizzed about the impact his popularity has had, 6ix Boss, who is a man of few words, replied, "Fine."
Drizzy Jay said 6ix Boss' condition is not a deterrent nor does it limit his ability to entertain and interact with others.
"It no seem like him have that though. Him more than the average, him a like we, a regular person. Him can have a conversation, but you just have fi understand him from fi him point enuh," he said.
Drizzy Jay outlined that 6ix Boss has made strides in personal development since he joined their team.
"He has achieved whole heap a stuff. Him improve pon him speech, him conversation, how him act around people. Him also improve pon a reading and him spelling. Nuff time we go places him even sign him own name," he said, adding that 6ix Boss will be travelling overseas soon.
"We have a trip coming up Christmas Eve to January 4. The whole team ago outside," he said.
