The 'Kotch E hat' creator, Valiant, is happy that he was able to treat fans to an impromptu parking lot performance at Sting, after he did not get the opportunity to please them from the stage.

"[The] Sting debut was not what we expected due to lack of stage time. Rehearsals and meetings were all done in vain. But regardless, it was a first-time experience not only for me but for the fans. Everything I do, I do it for my supporters, cause without them there would be no Valiant," said the entertainer, who has seven songs in Apple Music Jamaica's top 10.

The C.A.L (Cut All Losses) artiste told THE WEEKEND STAR that his decision to perform on top of a car in the parking lot at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in St Ann last Tuesday morning was purposeful. Valiant was among a handful of Sting top acts who either did not get to perform, or whose performance was severely chopped owing to the show going beyond the agreed upon cut-off time between the promoters and the authorities.

"The idea for performing on the car top was a calculated move from my camera team Khing cam, and also my management Steco and Chopline for a scene. However, it quickly turned into a mini stage show. After a few songs, I had seen how the fans had received it so I just continued and embraced them. They didn't get enough of me on stage, so why not take it to the parking lot?" Valiant said.

Since making the post on social media, Valiant has been generating quite a bit of positive feedback and is being hailed for his creativity.

Valiant, whose collaboration with Stalk Ashley, Narcissistic, is currently the number one trending video on YouTube, has been enjoying a huge surge in popularity in the last few months. He went viral when the slang, 'Kotch e Hat a Lie' blew up on TikTok in September and has not looked back since.
