Dancehall artiste Vehnom believes it is very important to focus on the infinite opportunities available in all aspects of life.

"A lot of people choose to focus on what they don't have in life and ignore all the wonderful things they possess. However, I was taught by my parents very early in life to give thanks for everything I have. Life itself is a great blessing and once you are alive, you can achieve almost anything. That's why I choose to have a gratitude mindset," he said.

The St Catherine-born singjay is currently promoting his new single, the aptly titled Give Thanks. The song, which was produced by Sheldon and Leroy Edwards on the 'Confine' rhythm, was released on the Pandemic Records label along with a video in June.

"I recorded this song to tell all the people out there who are struggling to give thanks for their blessings no matter what. I want them to always remember to practise gratitude and go after their goals because giving up is not an option," said Vehnom.

The multitalented entertainer, who is also a graphic designer and engineer, is currently in the studios working on several new projects.

Vehnom, whose given name is Ricardo Newman, is a graduate of Portmore Community College.

He launched his recording career with the release of a single titled Envy, which was produced by Prince A Records in 2018.
