Godson Four Corners gives praise on ‘God Inna Me’
Recording artiste Godson Four Corners talks about a connection with God on his latest track, God Inna Me.
"The song is about a personal relationship with God and the transformation of the heart that He does when you live with Him leading your life daily. It's about stepping out of the boxes of tradition and the average religious behaviour and embracing a true and pure relationship with the Saviour," the artiste explained.
Since its release in June, the track has seen a steady outpouring of support, already receiving more than 100,000 views on YouTube. There have also been many comments and messages from fans praising the song for its relatability and message. With its growing success, there is a possibility of a music video being released, with discussions currently taking place with the artiste's team.
"I hope the song will not only reach the hearts of people near and far, but also challenge persons to take a real look into their relationship with God. I hope it challenges people to go to church for God, and not use things like not having traditional church clothing as a reason not to fellowship with others. I hope people will recognise that God, and being in God, is not boring and that He made us to be creative and stylish and He wants us to embrace that," the artiste expressed.
While he has been doing music for 20 years, Godson Four Corners has been pursuing the art professionally for the past 12 years.
"I would describe my style of music as relatable and diverse. There is something for everyone and all from genuine experiences," he stated.
With releases such as I Need A Word, and Feeling High, the artiste has plans to release more music in the near future.
"In the pipeline for me is more music, more sharing God's word through the gift He has given me and just any other great thing He has in store," he said.
