Recording artiste Jreem is looking to bring more positive music to the airwaves and recently released the single ' Hard Work'.

"In everything you do, hard work pays off. Jamaica needs some more positive music. I wrote this song to show my music co-workers that's it's not about scamming, sexual acts and killing. I literally go the opposite way of what new artistes in Jamaica are putting out now," he said.

Since its release in June, the track has been getting a great reception, both on Jamaican radio and internationally. The song is being recognised by bloggers and social media influencers. Popular dance group Ghetto Kids posted a video of the members dancing to the song on their TikTok page. With the growing popularity of the track, especially on the accompanying music video which has garnered more than 200,000 views, it is expected to be a breakthrough hit for the artiste.

"My hope for this song is to prove that good music still works, to motivate hard-working people, and to show them that good music is still produced in Jamaica," the artiste said.

Hailing from Linstead, St Catherine, Jreem has been on his musical journey since before he was a teenager. He started his professional career in 2010.

"The music I put out is easy to receive, very relatable, household-friendly, and lyrical. I use melodies and relevant topics to create eye-opening tracks with well-put-together stories," the artiste said.

With releases including Good Again and Hurt, the artiste is gearing up to put out new material.
