Fresh off her surprise performance at the Chris Brown and Friends concert, dancehall starlet Moyann says the public should be gearing up for her new project.

Catching up with THE WEEKEND STAR, the Montego Bay native said that in a matter of days her latest single from the project will be released.

"The song coming out, it represents fi the girl them weh keep themselves clean, the girl dem weh have the tightest ... ," she paused to gesture to her private parts. "All the 'Ms Grippies' out there, this song is for you." She explained that while there are a multitude of quotable lines from the song, she and her team have yet to decide on a title.

"Honestly, we deh back and forth 'bout the name ... but we a go figure it out," she explained. The song is the first track off the artiste's upcoming project, which is set to drop at the end of September. According to Moyann's manager and producer for the project, DJ Frass, the seven-track project, that could take the form of an EP or mixtape, will explore a whole other side to the A Nuh My Style singer.

"You done have the regular dancehall thing, and then we a go have a next side weh dem never see before," he explained.

Agreeing wholeheartedly, Moyann said, "With this EP, I took a different approach than what I normally put out, things that people normally hear from me. I'm trying a different approach. I'm keeping some of that, but I'm doing, like, a mixture of different songs. A couple features are on it, international features. I'm so excited, I feel like you guys are gonna really love it."

She explained that the project is just the latest step in her move to better develop as an artiste.

"It's been a journey," she stated. "I just feel like, if you're doing something, try to do it at the best of your ability, try to perfect it. I mean, nobody just gets up and knows how to do things. But you have to put in the work, and that's what I'm doing now, putting in the work to better myself as an artiste."

DJ Frass told THE WEEKEND STAR that he has seen growth in Moyann's performance and writing.

"Her writing is on point right now, we're doing a lot of shows in the Caribbean, in America, and all over Jamaica," he said.
