Sgee Vehnom hungry for success

The 'Big Bunx' rhythm is arguably the hottest beat for the summer, and when he first heard it, up-and-coming artiste Sgee Vehnom decided that he wanted to be a part of the project.

Wonderland, the song that he recorded on the beat, has gone viral on social media. The official video for the song has racked up more than 620,000 views on YouTube since it was released four weeks ago.

"Yes, I am surprised at the reaction and feedback to the song; however, it wasn't mind-blowing. A lot has been happening since the song took off. I am getting shows, and other producers have reached out wanting to do work," said Sgee Vehnom. Wonderland is a joint venture between Sinkuz Entertainment and Zimi Records.

Sgee Vehnom, who initially wanted to become a businessman, is getting adjusted to a possible full-time career in music. He is a recent high-school graduate.

"Growing up, I had music in mind, but it wasn't my main focus. My goal in music is to reach my full potential in the art. My main objective is to bring my era of music to the highest level possible," said the 18-year-old dancehall artiste.
