Sinnermuzik looks to ‘Elevate’ himself

While eyes normally roll at the sound of his name, Sinnermuzik, formally called Sinnerchild, says he does not glorify 'evil', but seeks to 'elevate' himself and others.

The artiste, who hails from Bull Bay in St Andrew, recently released his debut single Elevate, which was produced by G Lion Records. Sinnermuzik, who recently signed to G Lion Records, has since been in the studio working actively on new singles but is thankful for the feedback he received from his first official release.

He shared, " Elevate was my introduction to the world of music. First impressions last, so I wanted to be able to have a positive impact from the get-go. Since the release, I have been getting calls for radio interviews and I am getting local radio support from several deejays."

Sinnermuzik was officially introduced to music in his teenage years. He frequented the Nine Miles area and met dancehall heavyweight Chronic Law, who encouraged him to take his craft seriously and to pursue music full-time.

"Chronic Law inspired me along with Vybz Kartel. Both artistes have songs about the reality we face in the ghetto and their lyrics are powerful," said Sinnermuzik.

The artiste is now on the promotional trail for his new single while working to release new music in the coming months.
