Mr Banging tired of the violence
Dancehall artiste Mr Banging is calling for an end to crime and violence in Jamaica.
"Every day you get up and listen to the news, all you hear about is killings and robberies. This situation has got way out of control; they're killing even the little babies now. I'm begging the people who are committing these heinous acts of crime to stop. Let's make this country peaceful and safe again for one and all," said the artiste.
He is currently promoting his new single titled Cry, featuring iBlack Lion.
"This is a message to everyone out there who's doing bad things in high or low places. We're asking you to stop what you are doing. It's time to start doing something positive for the country instead. Let's make a positive change for the sake of our children," said Mr Banging. Produced by Pandemic Records, Cry was released in July. The video for the single, which was filmed under the direction of Rodrick Blair of RGM Productions, was released on October 3.
"Since this song was released, I've been receiving great feedback about it from my fans via social media and in the streets. I am thankful to all the DJs who are playing it in Jamaica, the US, Europe, Africa, the UK, and other parts of the world," he said.
