Recording artiste Ron Lacks likes to consider himself a visionary artiste who would love to be celebrated for what he dubs as a unique ability to seamlessly fuse the reggae and dancehall genres.

With an unwavering commitment to authentic self-expression, the entertainer said he hopes his sound will help him realise his dream of leaving an indelible mark on the local music landscape. He said his work is a testament to his talent of masterfully weaving infectious melodies together to create something that "transcends genres". Using his latest single Rhythm of Elegance as example, the artiste said he prides himself on "sonic excellence".

"Behind this musical revelation stands the formidable PXX Label, an international music powerhouse dedicated to creating a global movement through fusion music. Like myself, PXX Label envisions a new era in music with reggae-dancehall fusion at its core. Their mission recognises the post-pandemic era as an opportunity for Jamaican music to ascend to even greater heights," he said. "This track was born with that in mind, and so my aspiration for this song is to inspire listeners to be bold and purposeful in pursuit of their dreams. Never allow conformity or mediocrity to stifle your potential."

Rhythm of Elegance was released in May, but the accompanying music video was only released on September 19. Ron Lacks said that was strategic as it gave the track time to marinate.

"Now with the video out, the song will get even more exposure and that's what we wanted," he said.

With hopes riding high for the song's visuals, the entertainer said that he has no plans to slow down when it comes to music production and has already released another track. Titled Modern Rude Boy, the single is in sync with his reggae-dancehall fusion format.
