DJ Wanted building his brand via YouTube

With more than 50,000 subscribers on YouTube, DJ Wanted is a musical curator dedicated to disseminating dancehall's newest, hottest, and hidden gems to Jamaican music enthusiasts globally.

Kicking off his career in 2018, DJ Wanted started putting together audio and video mixtapes, using YouTube as his main platform. He quickly garnered a global following of dancehall fans, producers, and artistes.

"I've always loved music, it's in my blood. With an ear for good music and a passion for elevating upcoming artistes, I knew I wanted to do more within the industry," said DJ Wanted. "It was after my first video shoot with artiste Luminous for his song Live Large that I was motivated to take production more seriously. My family, friends, business acquaintances, and fans continue to motivate me."

DJ Wanted also saw success with his production Idol by Image Boss. The song trended on YouTube for two weeks and garnered attention from local DJs. He has worked with artistes such as Nkylne, Lanz, Stock Boss and DreKing.

Gearing up for the release of his next production, DJ Wanted has collaborated with Navino on the single Best, which will be released on January 5.
