Anthony B was blazing hot on high seas

Reggae star Anthony B showed why he is widely regarded as one of the greatest performers in reggae music by delivering a shellacking performance at the just-concluded Welcome to Jamrock Reggae cruise.

Performing on the Main Stage Deck II, Anthony B whipped the crowd into a frenzy with his signature running dance, then segued neatly into his megahit, Freedom Fighter. He then energised the crowd with an emphatic rendition of Fire Pon Rome, which got a huge roar from the crowd. At one point, the audience took over the chorus, singing along.

The fiery entertainer reeled off a series of hits such as Hurt the Heart, Damage and My Yes and My No. He punctuated his performance with high-energy antics such as his high karate kicks, one-foot skanks and jumping jacks.

The consummate performer, Anthony B took things up another notch with the dancehall chart-topper Tease Her that got the females in the audience in a tizzy.

He closed his set with Raid the Barn and a cover of Wanna Know What Love Is.

He performed on the Welcome to the Jamrock Reggae Cruise on December 4, sharing the stage with Max Romeo and I-Wayne. He will now turn his attention to his highly-anticipated performance at Sting, which will be held on Boxing Day at Jamworld in Portmore, St Catherine.
