Kyodi ready to battle Fully Bad

Dancehall artiste Kyodi is looking forward to making a major mark at this year's Sting concert when he clashes with fellow artiste Fully Bad during a scheduled face-off at Jamworld, St Catherine, on Boxing Day.

"I feel excited about my upcoming performance at Sting this year. Mi just go look pon mi suit weh mi a go wear over Sting. It might stain afterwards because over Jamworld ah de right place fi splash Fully Bad blood, lyrical blood that is," Kyodi said. The artiste is riding a high based on the street response to a battery of clash songs aimed at his main rivals, Demarco, 10Tik and Fully Bad over the past six weeks.

"The streets really love songs like Main Danger ... the one wah most people love ah Villain because is a song weh diss 10Tik, Fully Bad, Demarco, Hot Frass and Gage," he said. He is managed by Royal Entertainment Agency and Markus Records. Kyodi is also generating major attention with a new single titled Woiiee.

"It's a must play song at weekly events like Boom Sundays, Uptown Mondays, Boasy Tuesdays and Leggo Di Streets if yu waan the crowd ketch an energy fi dance. The song has even crossed over in the streets of NYC (New York City). It is all over TikTok and Shazam," Kyodi said.

Well-known beatmaker Iamwav conceptualised the rhythm which was released on the Markus Records and Royal Entertainment Agency labels.

"Several bookings are now being negotiated for the US, Canada, UK, and the Caribbean," Kyodi's manager Kerry Ann Rhoden said. Kyodi is best known for the viral hit, When Mi Nice.
