GenXS, the newest kid on the Jamaica Carnival block, opened the 2024 season with a bang last Monday night at the Courtyard by Marriot Hotel. Attendees descended on the sky-level pool deck to celebrate major announcements made by GenXS' directors of major sponsorship deals as well as 'King of Soca' Machel Montano's surprise sign-on as the band's headlining act and carnival ambassador.
