‘Money to Di Link’ puts Kurtici on the map
Dancehall artiste Kurtici believes that he is finally getting the traction he needs to push his career to another level with his latest release Money to Di Link.
The song was released a few months ago and is produced by Aicon. Money to Di Link is getting heavy rotations on radio stations, [it is] hot on the street and [has] a buzz on social media," said Kurtuci. "The song take off. [Selector] Boom Boom previewed it at his event Boom Sundays and the crowd, even the dancers dem love the vibe of the song." He explained the single is about "hustlers all over the world and making progress towards their dreams".
"I am currently working on a video for [the song] and I am in the process of completing a compilation of songs due for release soon," he said.
Kurtici, who is now based in the UK, is from Kingston, and started his music career 10 years ago, working with producers and record labels including Cashflow and Armshouse Records. His musical inspiration came from dancehall legends, Ninja Man and Shabba Ranks. Kurtici said that he will take the successes as they come along.
"Well, at the moment I'm very much looking forward to growth with my current buzz and making a big impact into dancehall music internationally," he said.
