It was night three of Jamaica Carnival week and partygoers had more than enough reasons to celebrate with the annual staging of the highly anticipated Illuminate.

Held at The University of the West Indies' Mona Bowl, the drinks-inclusive event brought all of the heavy soca players to the field, topping off the night with an electrifying performance from the 'DNA man' himself, Mical Teja, who echoed the sweet sentiment that there's no place like home.

Here are the highlights.
