Dan Chiice Entertainment bringing a difference to reggae music
Having grown up around music, Deigo Dan had no choice but to follow his musical aspirations.
"My uncle Aubyn was a selector with the Travellers Disco, and my neighbour, Quincy, played with Katarak. When I was younger, I used to be around artistes, and I even sat in on some recording sessions," Deigo Dan explained.
Today, he is the owner of a state-of-the-art studio and the mastermind behind the label Dan Chiice Entertainment. Since it came into being, Dan Chiice Entertainment has recorded songs with several established as well as up-and-coming reggae and dancehall artistes.
"I am a multifaceted person. I am involved in entertainment; I do promotions; and I have also hosted an event in Portmore for the past five years called Ultimate Cookout. I used to be a dancer, and I even made appearances in music videos for well-known artistes. However, music production is a huge passion and it's something that I enjoy doing," said Deigo Dan. "I enjoy creating new sounds, the thrill and the fun of it is exciting. When you create something from the start and then you hear the finished product, it's just amazing."
Deigo Dan has a major project to be released shortly called the 'Reputation' rhythm. Additionally, he has produced songs such as She Goes by Delago, This Girl by Ibo Fyah, Back to the Sender's and Gee Game by Shaney Blaxx, Mi Gone by Junior X, Incognito by Ginjah and There's No Vacancy by Turbulence.
Other artistes who have recorded songs for the Dan Chiice Entertainment label include Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Queen Ifrica, Sizzla, Anthony B and Gyptian.
