Soun Bwoii upbeat after Unruly Fest UK performance
Dancehall artiste Soun Bwoii made his international debut at last Sunday's staging of Popcaan's Unruly Fest UK at the Crystal Palace Bowl.
The event was headlined by Popcaan, and also featured Spice, Rampage Sound System and several guest artistes.
"Performing at Unruly Fest, it was surreal. It was a true testament to what hard work does for you," said Soun Bwoii, who marvelled that "I had 13,000 people singing my song back to me".
"It really hit me that I can make a difference with my music," he said. "The experience and the honour, I am grateful for. And to perform after a heavy hitter like Spice and right before Popcaan, shows growth in my journey as an artiste."
Soun Bwoii, who shot to fame a few months ago with the viral hit Pump Up, heads to Guadeloupe for his next performance on August 10.
