Popular recording artiste Singer J says that he is in the final stages of putting together a gospel album, which he says will be released over the next few months.

"The album is titled I Love You Lord and it is produced by my label, Sol Records and JJ Wizzle. I'm a strong believer in God, I never leave God out of anything I'm doing. So it was only right for me to give Him thanks and praise with a full body of work," said Singer J. The artiste will celebrate his birthday next month with parties scheduled for November 9 in Fort Lauderdale, Rub-a-Dub Tuesdays on November 12, and in Bermuda on the 16th.

It's been a busy year for the singer. In May when he released the album Tribute to Bob Andy, he decided that he wanted to continue the musical legacy that the legend, who is his late uncle, had created. So he embarked on a series of shows overseas to promote the album.

"The promo tour actually started in May when the album was released. My team did a release party in Queens, New York and it was a good look. I did around eight club shows from New York to Boston, Hartford in Connecticut, Baltimore and Philadelphia. I also made an appearance at Marcia Griffiths' 60 years in reggae celebration show in Florida," Singer J said.

Tribute to Bob Andy consists of 10 songs. The project sees the artiste putting his own spin on classics such as I've Got to Go Back Home, Too Experience, Fire Burning and Unchained.

"I'm honoured to be carrying on the great legacy of my uncle Bob Andy, highlighting his contributions to our genre and making sure the legend's name lives on," he stated.
