A taxi-man and an exotic dancer involved in a case and cross case had their bails extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Charged with unlawful wounding is 23-year-old Colleen Moyton of Lincoln Avenue, Kingston 13 and taxi driver Austin Marley, 50, of Allman Town, Kingston 4.

The court heard that on the day of the incident, Marley dropped a client at a strip club when he was approached by Moyston who demanded $5,500 he reportedly owed. The court further heard that Marley exited the vehicle and Moyton reportedly used her exotic dancing shoes and a bottle to strike him causing a wound. It is said that Marley then went to his vehicle for a machete which he used to slap Moyston causing pains to her upper back and on her right side.

The two were subsequently arrested and charged.

Both had their bails extended by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey until October 28 pending a mention hearing, at which time an outstanding medical report for Marley is expected to be made available.
