A correctional officer on ganja charge, had his bail extended when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court.

Charged with possession of ganja is Gary Senior from St Catherine address.

Reports are that on September 25, Senior was entering the Tower Street Adult Correctional Centre with two black plastic bags. A routine search was conducted and the accused was found with four parcels containing vegetable matter resembling ganja was found.

It is reported that the parcels found on the accused totalled two pounds.

Senior returns to court on November 20.
